    • Wages & Salary (hourly or salaried)

    • Tips, Bonuses & Self-Employment Income

    • Rental Income & Public Assistance

    • Social Security, Pensions & Investments

    • Alimony & Child Support

    Example Calculation

    If you earn $18/hour and work 35 hours per week:

    $18 x 35 hours x 52 weeks = $32,760 per year

    To find your total household income, add up earnings from all household members.

  • Savings vary based on system size and incentives, but eligible homeowners can receive thousands in rebates, reducing the overall cost of solar installation.

  • Once your system is installed, Energy Trust of Oregon will verify it meets quality standards. You may also be eligible for additional tax credits when you file your taxes.
